The Epic Nano uses nanofiltration technology to make it the strongest and longest lasting filter on the market!!! Designed to remove up to 99.999% of all contaminants, with the Nano Water Filter Pitcher is the strongest choice in water purification. Strong water filtration takes time! Our nanofiltration technology is also our slowest filter so if you care more about speed than you do about removal of harsh contaminants like PFOS/PFOA, Bacteria, Viruses, Giardia, E-Coli, Cryptosporidium, Heavy Metals, & more, then this might not be the filter for you.
The Epic Nano filters are replaceable and tested to the highest industry standards. The American-made Nano has been tested against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, 401, P473, & P231 for contaminant reduction (see Nano Filter Test Results for more).
With each filter capable of purifying 150 gallons (586 litres) of water, the Nano Water Filter Pitcher is also the only filter on the market to remove Bacteria (99.999%), Viruses (99.95%), and Cysts (99.9999%). Your health is invaluable. When you drink water filtered by the Epic Nano, you can drink with confidence from almost any water source including your tap. Enjoy refreshing, clean drinking water with nanofiltration-level performance from the Epic Nano Water Filter Pitcher by Epic Water Filters. All of our filters are recyclable through our recycle program (see here).

The Epic Nano Filter has an average life of around four (4) months. Filter life varies based on your average daily use and the quality of your drinking water. If your tap water is relatively heavily contaminated, your filter must work harder to keep your water clean, which will decrease the life of the filter.
Light Use (Filling up once or twice a day): change filter every 4-6 months
Normal Use (Filling up twice or three times a day): change filter every 3-4 months
Heavy Use (Filling up more than three times a day): every 2-3 months

Epic for the Earth
Goodbye Single-Use Plastics: Each Epic Water Filter eliminates the need for up-to 1500 single use plastic bottles. Enjoy some of the cleanest water on earthing knowing that each sip is contributing to the reduction of single use plastics.
Partnerships: We are a proud contributor to and strategic partner of the Inland Ocean Coalition (IOC) who works to raise awareness of the impact that micro-plastics (single-use bottles and straws) are having on our rivers and oceans. They remind us that you don't have to live by the ocean to care about it because we’re all upstream. Click here to learn more about them. You can also support IOC by purchasing our OG Special Edition IOC Bottle whose proceeds go directly to them.
Materials: We opt for materials that are gentle on the environment. Our packaging is 100% compostable. We also have a Filter Recycling Program to help you responsibly dispose of your used filters (and get rewarded for it). To learn how you can recycle your filter, click here.
We reuse materials in our warehouse whenever we can do so safely so as to minimize our footprint and give a second purpose to materials that would otherwise end up immediately in landfills.
Giving Back: We believe in supporting others who are doing work that matters. As a 1% for the Planet Member, we commit 1% of our sales each year to give back to environmental organizations that are truly making a difference. We love to engage our local community in making a difference too. Each month, we host a creek cleanup in our area to prevent unwanted waste from making its way from us to the ocean. We love where we live and we like to do what we can to keep it beautiful. Want to join us (near or far)? Follow us on social media to stay up to date.
Recycle for Rewards: Can our filters be recycled? Yes, they can! But it's not always easy to find a recycling center that will do so. We use Terra Cycle's Zero Waste Box for Filters so both the filter shell and the contaminants inside can be disposed of responsibly. Want to be rewarded for recycling your filters? Learn more here.
